On August the 31st 2009 in the UK it will be a Bank Holiday Monday – which normally translates into heavy congestion on roads and motorways. Although normally the case during public holidays, the alarming thing is that what can start off as a fun break for the family can turn into heartache and loss of life. In May the RAC anticipated that during the last public holiday period in May, on average 3 motorists would be killed and a further 30 injured at the wheel, but does this need to happen?
